I’m not in the habit of leaving bad reviews for businesses, but after the text message exchange this company had with my husband yesterday… here it is! Four months ago husband had nearly $13,000 worth of work completed on his truck at Deer Park Diesel. Payment was made partly by credit card and partly in cash, and we have the receipt. Four months after the work was completed, we were contacted and told they couldn't find the largest cash payment in their records. Instead of first checking their own accounting or approaching the situation professionally, they implied that my husband had not paid. He sent a copy of the payment documentation. Even after seeing the documentation there was still no acknowledgment that they had made a mistake and no apology for accusing a paying customer of not paying his bill. We understand that accounting errors can happen, but how a business handles those errors says a lot about its integrity and customer service. The employee who accepted the cash even commented at the time, "That's a lot of cash!” If there was an internal accounting issue, that should never have been turned into an accusation against a customer. Especially FOUR months later! Good grief! I personally do not know of any mechanics who would give a customer the keys back to their vehicle without receiving payment in full first or securing financing for repayment. We won't be returning. It's disappointing to spend nearly $13,000 with a business only to be treated as though you're dishonest and be accused of trying to “exploit” their business when the evidence shows otherwise.

A very complete diesel shop with knowledgeable mechanics. I have been wanting to visit a true shop with my truck and now I found the place.

Super great service from the counter people to the mechanics. Everything was top notch!

They looked in to our RV’s problem exactly when they said they would. Using a little ingenuity they diagnosed the problem in a matter of minutes. When I went to pick up the RV they actually charged me less because diagnostic time was way less than anticipated. Super honest. Their price for my next oil change will be higher , but my last oil change at a different shop was the cause for my problem.
